Artists will meet at the York Art Association Studio for a relaxed and fun, “Kick Start” demonstration with Susan Nicholas. Skilled in all mediums, Susan is a seasoned plein air and studio painter that will connect where you are in your art, and prepare you for painting from "the Studio to Plein Air.” Each day we will travel independently to a site to discover how to see beyond the obvious within the landscape, and explore the use expressive color to capture the essence of mood and atmosphere in sky, water, and more. Susan will help you learn to see the depth of color and create a unique and personally expressive painting. There will be support and attention given at each artist’s easel in the field.
