This is NOT just a typical painting class. Are you ready to learn? Study with a 16 year "highly-advanced educator" that can break down all knowledge to easily understand and apply. Concepts such as: direct or dramatic lighting, edge quality, depth, color theory, color gamut, textural differences and brush application, contrast to create focal interest, composition, translucent versus opaque qualities, creating harmony and unity, quality materials and why it's important, will all be addressed and/or touched on. In each class, we will have a small 5-10 minute lecture of information and a quick 10 minute follow along demonstration, so you can fully grasp concepts mentally, visually and physically with your paint brush. There will be many tips, tricks and how-to's along the way to take your paintings to the next level. I will also mention little assignments to try at home, to enhance your skills and technique, if you'd like to participate. Most of the class will focus on your own personal artwork with ample feedback or questions to think about. I am open to realism and other styles of art. Within each personal style, there is much knowledge to discuss, things think about and ideas to apply. My goal is to get you to think and paint like a professional artist with vision. Are you ready to take your artwork to more advanced levels?
