We will begin this class with a historical overview of Japanese Anime, setting the tone for understanding the genre. Next we cover how to draw the face and head, how to visually communicate emotions and how to draw bodies. This class will teach students how to draw chibi, mecha, fantasy creatures and our favorite Anime characters. This is a basic drawing class that explores materials, types of surfaces and techniques as well. Positive attitude, willingness to learn and love of Anime welcomed! Ages 10 and Up.
Tuition: $90/Members $110/Non-Members
This is an in-person class, therefore all social distancing and safe COVID19 practices apply, and masks are required. There will be a limit of 8 students, so please register early.
