PORTRAIT DRAWING with Van Pafchek, THURSDAY'S 1-4PM 

In this course, students will learn to draw realistic portraits from life using a classical-realist approach. Class will consist of cast drawings, master copies and drawing from a live model in addition to demos, group and individual critiques and brief lectures. Through these modes of study, students will learn the anatomy and structure of the head and upper body, sighting techniques used to create accurate line drawings, shading techniques used to reveal form, and will ultimately develop the 

methods and skills necessary to creating a finished, accurate portrait drawing. All levels welcome. The model fee is included with your tuition payment. (update: NO class on 4/21, last class is 6/2)
