PLEIN AIR WORKSHOP with Susan Nicholas Gephart

Susan Nicholas is skilled in all mediums and will connect to where you are in your art, and prepare you for painting from nature en plein air. Susan has over 50 years of plein air and studio painting experience. Each day we will travel independently to a site to discover how to see beyond the obvious within the landscape, and explore the use color to capture the essence of mood and atmosphere in sky, water, and more. Susan will help you learn to see the depth of color and create a unique and personally connected painting to your style.   

Artists will meet on location at a site location (given before the workshop). There will be support and attention given at each artist’s easel in the field.

Susan encourages each artist to contact her and share their personal goals for this workshop. This workshop will be designed for the attending artists that contact her before it begins.
