ACRYLIC & OIL PAINTING I with Penelope Grumbine
Monday's 6-9PM (beginner to intermediate)

Are you a beginner that would like to take some time to learn the basics of painting? Are you a more experienced painter but would like to experiment with both acrylic and oil and mature your techniques? This class is for YOU! You will be introduced to how to lay out a color palette and the basics of mixing colors. You will have the opportunity to use acrylic and/ or oil medium as both will be demonstrated. Experiment with brush strokes and the painting knife.

The elements of structure and space in a composition and the use of light will be emphasized. Sketches from life, or even your own still life objects can be used as you explore and learn! (No class on 10/31) TUITION: $175 MEM / $200 NON-MEM
