WATERCOLOR EXPLORATION with Kathy Becker  Wednesday's 9:30-12:30pm  (all levels)

Come enjoy a relaxed atmosphere to explore the different qualities of watercolor. We will begin the session with landscape step-by-step demos, but the class will be encouraged to bring in their own sources to work from.  Individual help will be readily available to help the student through the process.  We will review techniques through demonstrations, learning tricks of the trade. The importance of choosing a color scheme and composition will be incorporated into each class. The steps of starting with a photo source, cropping, if necessary, value studies, and drawing using a good composition will help students gain the confidence they need to be able to paint independently! Students will be encouraged to experiment and explore their own interests. TUITION: $175 MEM / $200 NON-MEM
