FALL INTO COLLAGE with Susan Darling, NCS  The leaves are falling from the trees; there is no better time to fall into COLLAGE. This class is for beginners as well at seasoned collage folks. We will focus on creating our pieces around the theme of Autumn.  Your work can be literal or an adventure in exploring the colors and how fall feels to you!  Collage is a lively medium, and you will be surprised to find your design skills expanding.  TUITION: $75 MEM / $100 NON-MEM

Supply List for Collage Workshop

·         Large container for water
·         Paints, any that you would like to create collage papers with
·         Matte Medium or Gloss Medium and a GLUE STICK (Michael’s or AC Moore). This is the GLUE of collage
·         Brushes, not good ones, matte medium will take its toll on brushes
·         Brushes again!  To paint with.
·         Papers that you might like to use. Any collection will do.  I recycle things like junk mail, magazines, old books, maps and the like.  I have plenty to share.
 
·         Scissors
·         Cheap roll of waxed paper and a roll of paper towels
·         Mark making tools that you like to use, anything from pencils to forks! These tools are for scratching and marking into painted areas in your work.
·         I am partial to those CANVAS boards at Michaels and AC Moore.  I do not suggest anything larger than 11 x 14 so.  You will need two or three of those depending on how quickly you work.
·          Roll of clear packing tape, this is for image transfer.

·     Bring any papers at you might want to use for collage.  I have LOTS of paper to share with you!
