FALL MEMBERS' EXHIBITION 2025 (SEPT 14 - OCT 19)

THE CALL

Members are invited to enter up to 2 pieces. Each piece is registered and transacted individually. Registrations are non-refundable and registrations beyond two will not be allowed entry. This exhibition is limited to 100 submissions.

The annual Fall Members' Exhibition offers YAA members a chance to showcase their art alongside their peers. This members only exhibit is not themed, so works of any genre and medium that fall within the artist guidelines are welcome! (If you are not a member and would like to participate you can join our group of amazing artists and art lovers by going to: JOIN US, to initiate your membership.)

There are 2 categories of artists for entry: PROFESSIONAL AND NON-PROFESSIONAL

Enter as a Professional Artist if ANY of the following APPLY: a) regularly sell and exhibit your work, b) have won three YAA awards (honorable mention does not count) c) provide classroom instruction in the fine arts or) hold a degree in fine art or graduated from an art atelier.

Pre-registration is required.
To participate:

  1. Review this prospectus and YAA Artist Guidelines and Terms
  2. Click on REGISTER, sign in, and enter your artwork details.
  3. Complete the checkout process and pay for each registered piece. Unpaid registrations will be voided after 15 minutes.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 again for a second registration if desired.

Best of Show: $300

JUDGE: John Brandon Sills

John Brandon Sills earned his BA in Fine Art from Towson State University and studied Renaissance art in Florence, Italy. He later graduated from the Schuler School of Fine Art in Baltimore. His landscape paintings are held in collections across the U.S. and internationally.

John has received numerous honors, including top prizes at Plein Air Easton, Paint Annapolis, and the Laguna Beach Plein Air Invitational. His work reflects a deep reverence for nature, inviting viewers to connect spiritually with the environment. A passionate mentor, John encourages artists to draw from inner inspiration to create meaningful, transformative art.

IMPORTANT DATES:
JUL 28:
Call for entries opens
SEP 2, 2PM: Call closes (or when capacity is reached)
SEP 8, 2-6PM: Intake of registered works
SEP 14, 2-4PM: Opening reception and awards (free to the public)
OCT 19, 4-4:30PM & OCT 20, 10AM-2PM: Pickup of unsold works

REMINDERS:

  • Art must be hand-delivered by the artist or a representative.
  • Works must be dry, securely framed, or have finished edges.
  • Pieces should be ready to hang with braided wire.  Note, work without braided wire for hanging will not be accepted on intake
  • ID/Intake Tags will be printed for you upon arrival.
  • Please arrive during the designated times so our volunteers can properly process your entries.
  • If you can't pick up your art on the designated dates, please arrange for someone to collect it on your behalf.
  • Unretrieved art will not be insured or stored, and efforts will be made to contact the artist.
