Take Your Acrylic Painting to the Next Level!

Already comfortable with acrylics but looking to push your skills further? Join our Advanced Acrylic Painting class — designed specifically for artists like you who want to explore new styles, tools, and textures with expert instruction from a professional working and teaching artist with over 50 years of acrylic painting experience.

In this dynamic, hands-on course, you'll:

  • Experiment with innovative techniques like glazing, impasto, dry brushing, and palette knife work
  • Experience an in-depth exploration of the amazing creative opportunities with gel mediums and acrylic inks. This will involve making your own gel mediums, creating molded acrylic objects and acrylic skins, and subtractive methods. We will create one or two abstract paintings using these methods and the class will offer a look into what design aspects are needed to create a powerful, eye-catching abstract painting.
  • Deepen your understanding of color theory, composition, and layering
  • Receive personalized feedback and guidance from an experienced instructor
  • Explore mixed media and unconventional materials to add depth and dimension to your work

Whether you're refining your style or stepping outside your comfort zone, this class offers the support and creative challenge to help you grow.
