Spring Member's Exhibition 2026 April 26 to June 7

DESCRIPTION: Our annual Spring Members' Exhibition 2026 will be our last exhibition in our Marshall Street location! Future exhibits will be held in our new gallery on Linden Avenue.
The Spring Exhibition offers YAA members a chance to showcase their art alongside their peers. This YAA members-only exhibit is not themed, so works of any genre and medium are welcome! (If you are not a member and would like to participate you can join our group of amazing artists and art lovers by going to: JOIN US to initiate your membership.)
THE CALL: Members are invited to enter up to 2 pieces of art during the call. Artists may register as either professional or non-professional (learn more about these distinctions in our terms and conditions link below). Registrations are non-refundable and extra registrations will not be accepted. This exhibition is limited to 100 submissions.
To enter, first read the prospectus, click on REGISTER, follow the prompts on the screen to sign in, and enter your artwork information. You must "check out" and pay for each registered piece. Unpaid registrations are automatically voided after 15 minutes.

Important dates:
Monday April 20: Intake of Registered Works 2-6PM
Sunday April 26: Opening Reception 2-4PM (awards @ 2:30, free to public)
Sunday May 31 4-4:30 or Monday June 1 10-2: Pickup of unsold work.
INTAKE:
Work(s) are ready to hang, prepared with braided hanging wire.
Work(s) are hand-delivered and signed in by artist (or artist’s representative).
Work(s) are dry, securely framed or have finished edges.
ID/Intake Tags will be printed for you.
Please arrive during the scheduled times when our volunteers are able to accept your entries properly.
Due to insurance reasons, we are unable to accept works outside of the scheduled pick-up times.
PICKUP:
If you are unable to pick up your art on pick-up days, please have a friend retrieve your pieces for you during these designated times.
Art not retrieved is not insured and will not be held. All efforts to contact artist will be made, but art will not be stored if artist fails to pick up.
JUDGE: Linda Mylin-Ross
Linda retired from Penn State Harrisburg where she was a faculty member for 25 years teaching courses in art history, studio art and art education. There she curated over 200 art exhibits in two campus galleries. She holds an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, an MA in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Penn State and a BS in Art Education from Millersville University. In 2009 she retired from full time teaching to shift her professional focus toward her own art production, adjunct work at Elizabethtown College and, for three years, teaching and curating exhibits at The Marietta Arthouse.
She has exhibited her drawings and paintings widely in museums, galleries and regional, state and national juried exhibits, winning awards in many of these. The Pennsylvania State Museum, The Woodmere Museum, Philadelphia, The Demuth Museum, The Reading Museum, The Susquehanna Art Museum, The Lancaster Museum of Art and The Paul Robeson Center, State College are a few of the institutions that have exhibited her work.
She has been asked to jury many exhibits including student shows at Franklin and Marshall College, Messiah College, and Wilson College. She has also been a juror for the Annual Mount Gretna Art Show, Lititz Art Show, Lancaster County Art Association Membership Exhibit.
