This one-day Lecture style Pop-Up will cover Jim’s life as a freelance Illustrator, what it takes to be an illustrator, the skills required, the business aspects, including promotion, and the various job opportunities available. 

Jim will share images and stories from his high-profile assignments, including work for the White House, the Pepperidge Farm Mill Logo, and Little Golden Books.  Students, high school age or any interested adults, who have wondered how to become a commercial artist or Illustrator or are just interested in finding out what it is like to be one, this Pop-Up is for you! 

Jim will be looking for participants in this Pop-Up to be ready to ask questions, so please bring your questions and a notepad! No other Materials needed. 

Stay Tuned for a possible class this April and May that goes more in depth with the topic of Illustration
