An understanding of perspective is useful for all subject matters, genres and media. In this one day workshop we will explore the use of vanishing points and the horizon to understand the difference between 1 and 2 Point Perspective. We will learn to stack and overlap boxes as well as explore receding horizontal pattern and apply value to render our forms on our practice drawings. If time allows, a simple still life for sketching will be set up at the end of the class to practice and apply our newly acquired perspective skills.
