Tuition for this course includes a starter kit of student grade watercolor paints (with 18 tubes), brushes, pad of watercolor paper and storage pouch. All levels are welcome but this 6 week course will focus on beginners and the frustrated who seek deeper understanding of the basics of watercolor. We will discover why a simple concept can be so complex.

Weekly exercises will explore topics such as the importance of quality brushes, paints and paper as well as their characteristics. Traditional and experimental techniques, color theory, and value, will be applied as we learn to render form with light and shadow etc.

SUPPLY LIST: Strathmore Watercolor starter kit included with tuition.
