Curious about oil painting but feeling a bit intimidated? This workshop is geared towards the established artist already versed in other mediums, but wants to explore oil painting. Chris will guide you through the basics of using this forgiving, vibrant medium. Color mixing, various supports, mediums, brushes, mark making and other oil relevant issues will be presented. With demos, hands-on instruction, and time to experiment, you'll paint from simple studio setups or your own photo references, all with supportive guidance from Chris. By the end, you'll have the confidence and skills to continue exploring oil painting on your own and develop your unique style!
